Newspapers as we know them are dying. I hope they stay around for more than a little while.
Broadcast television, though, has to be next. My kids go to Hulu or the Wii first. Commercial TV second.
Add the vloggers and all the super creativity on Vimeo and other sites: you've got a recipe for another broken down advertiser-driven model. I certainly won't miss cable television fees!
So here are some images to use as you describe all this activity. I got the idea to aggregate a whole bunch of creative commons licensed photos from my niche from here (#6). Thanks Adam Singer!
If you don't know what a creative commons license is, please read here.
In essence, lots of photographers and artists want to share their work if it's being used for non-commercial purposes and if credit is given. The copyright still belongs to the artist, but the work can be shared legally under certain circumstances. Note my CC license at the end of my sidebar.
So here you go. Note the photographers' names. I thank them all for their help. And if you are thinking how to get more people to see your blog, try out this approach in your niche. I'm looking forward to seeing the pics!
